Northeast Georgia Health System is offering a Perioperative Training Program beginning February 23, 2015. This training program is designed to provide quality education and training for nurses beginning or transitioning their careers into the operating room. This 6 month program will prepare nurses in a variety of perioperative roles.
Our Perioperative Nurse Residents will be paired with Clinical Preceptors who will serve as a mentor during the 6 month residency. This ensures you’ll receive a comprehensive educational experience with close one-on-one instruction.
Upon acceptance into the program, all candidates will be assigned to a paid nursing position in the operating room and eligible for benefits.
Applicants applying for the Perioperative Nurse Residency Program must have a current Georgia Registered Nurse license.
